Big Bopsicle

This frozen delight is coated in a protective armor that can make catching it a bit difficult.

Hates: Charmallow

Most Active Time of Day: All day

Best Way to Catch: The only way to catch a Big Bopsicle is to make it hot! Before we get to that step, though, set a tripwire that you’ll lure the critter into. Then, either lure it into a hot spring or use peanut butter to draw over a Charmallow. Once the Big Bopsicle starts to heat up, it will run into your wire and become stunned. Now, it’s primed for catching.

Bopsicle

A tinier, cuter version of the Big Bopsicle, this tiny treat is far more timid than its counterpart.

Fears: Charmallow

Most Active Time of Day: All day

Best Way to Catch: Bopsicles are the product of snapping a Big Bopsicle in half. It sounds morbid, but hear us out. Instead of setting a tripwire, after you lure the Big Bospicle to the hot spring or manipulate a Charmallow to do the dirty work for you, let the timer run out. When it does, the Big Bopsicle will split into two. Rush in when they’re still staggered and grab one with your net.

Charmallow

A fiery Bugsnak, the Charmallow just needs to cool off a little.

Favorite Food: Chocolate, Peanut Butter

Most Active Time of Day: 4 pm to 4 am

Best Way to Catch: Force the Charmallow to follow you with either chocolate or peanut butter. Either lead it to a body of water or to a Bopsicle, and you’ll be able to stun the flighty creature. Once it’s down, grab it and add it to your collection.

Cinnasnail

Coated in a sticky icing, this slowpoke isn’t one to wait around to be grabbed.

Favorite Food: Chocolate

Most Active Time of Day: All day

Best Way to Catch: Don’t bother going for a Cinnasnail until you have the Snak Grappler. These crafty critters are always out of reach, so you’ll need the Grappler, a Launchpad, and a Snak Trap. Place the trap on the pad, aim at the Cinasnail, and let it fly! Quick, switch to your Grappler and use it to snag the freshly trapped Cinnasnail.

Hunnabee

The sticky substance on this Bugsnak makes it a breeze to capture.

Favorite Food: N/A

Most Active Time of Day: 5 am to 6 pm

Best Way to Catch: There are two methods to capturing this sticky critter. The first involves scanning it with your Snax Scope to see its trajectory. Find a pair of trees or rocks to set your Trip Shot on, and wait until the Hunnabee flies into it. Once stunned, you can nab it with your Net. Additionally, you can set your Snak Trap on your Launchpad, aim it at the Hunnabee, and launch it at the buzzing bee.

Kwookie

This fast-footed Bugsnak will drive you crazy… unless you can figure out its path.

Favorite Food: Peanut Butter

Most Active Time of Day: All day

Best Way to Catch: Grabbing a Kwookie is pretty easy, so long as you don’t try to chase it. Instead, use your Snax Scope to determine its walking path, then set up your Trip Shot somewhere on the path. The Kwookie will walk into the wire, get stunned, and suddenly be infinitely easier to grab.

Nutty Snakpod

There’s no skill in finding these Snakpods, save for a good eye.

Favorite Food: N/A

Most Active Time of Day: All day

Best Way to Catch: Snakpods don’t move, so capturing one is as easy as walking up to it. If one is out of reach, break out your Snak Grappler.

Rainbow Sweetiefly

Traps won’t help to capture this colorful fly until it decides to rest its wings.

Favorite Food: N/A

Most Active Time of Day: 4 am to 4 pm

Best Way to Catch: The Rainbow Sweetiefly is almost always in motion, but they do take a break every so often. Wait for it to settle down, set a Snak Trap nearby, and wait for it to get too close. Activate the trap and take home your vibrant new addition to your Bugsnax collection.

Sprinklepede

They don’t look it, but Sprinklepedes will give you a run for your money as they sneak up higher structures.

Favorite Food: Chocolate, Peanut Butter

Most Active Time of Day: All day

Best Way to Catch: For this little guy, you’ll need a shot of sauce or your Snak Grappler. Knocking it to the ground with either method won’t stun it, and he’ll be on the move pretty quick. Throw down a Trip Shot quickly in its path and watch it run right into your wire. Once it’s stunned, grab it and add it to your growing zoo.

Yellow Peelbug

You’ll need to get a little dirty and find the tunnels beneath the woods.

Favorite Food: Chocolate

Most Active Time of Day: All day

Best Way to Catch: You’ll need to find holes in the ground that lead to the underground tunnels. Once you do, set a Snak Trap on one end and release your Buggy Ball into the other. This will force the Yellow Peelbug out and right into your trap. Activate it at the right time to score this elusive morsel.
