To answer 1st question, yes you can play with other users via Xbox pass on PC, Steam, Epic, and Origin, they all use Origin as the DRM to connect with each other, and if EA does cross play via console with their EA Games they too will be able to play with as well.

Hello, @sharkdemon12 @MagicChow, Currently, this is not something you can do, all EA games are platform exclusive currently. That means if you buy them on PC they won't work on consoles.

Normally, this error means your account is already linked. Try going to profile.ea.com and click on connections in the lower left. If you see your gamertag here, you're already linked.
