Can I have Blizzard Authenticator on two devices?

You are able to use the same Authenticator on different devices with the Restore Function: Open the the menu on your first device and write down the Serial # and the Restore codes. Install the Blizzard Authenticator on your other second device.

How do I transfer my Blizzard authenticator to my new phone?

If you want to move your Mobile Authenticator to a new device, you'll want to remove the old one first, then add a new one. If you don't have access to the old device, please contact us.

Can I use a different authenticator app for Blizzard?

You cannot. Blizzard's 2FA system works a little differently.

What happens if you lose your Blizzard authenticator?

You would need to submit a request to our Support Team. If you need to have the authenticator removed, you can submit the request here. Someone will be able to assist you from there.

A phone number can only be added to a single Battle.net Account. Customer Support cannot bypass this limitation. If you added your phone number to another Battle.net Account, log in to that account's Account Details page to remove the number.

Only one BattleTag can be associated with a Battle.net account. BattleTags do not need to be unique. You can use any name you want, as long as it follows our Naming Policy. Each BattleTag is assigned a numeric ID to create a unique identifier (for example, FallenSlayer#3592).

As long as both account are under the same last name then it can be done. You can also move toons from one bnet to another. If both are active and have no penalties. You can move toons from a account of a lower level to a higher level but not of a higher level to a lower level.

How do I restore my authenticator app to a new phone?

If you still have access to your old Authenticator, you can easily recover all your accounts onto a new device by scanning your QR code with that device. The only way to recover Authenticator if you've lost your phone is to make sure you have a backup copy of your QR code in advance.

Why can't i log into Blizzard authenticator?

Make sure you have enough free space on your device. Try detaching and reattaching your Authenticator. Uninstall the app, restart your phone, then reinstall the Authenticator. Clear the Authenticator's Data and Cache from your device's app manager, restart the app, and try again.
