Can Orks win against Tyranids?

As far as I can tell orks are very strong against tyranids. I'd strongly recommend shoota boys. In my experience they outshoot and outfight termagaunts. Hormagaunts/genestealers might be good, but they're so easy to shoot up that I've never had them make it into combat with my boys.
