Can you share a Sims 4 account?

Unlike The Sims 3 (where you had to buy 1 copy of the base game for each account but could share expansions across accounts), there is NO sharing in The Sims 4. Only 1 account per game and no sharing the expansions for you.

Can two people play The Sims 4 on the same account?

So while two people can't be online from the same account at the same time, two people can be logged into the same account at the same time. As the other person stated though, sharing your password with anyone means that you give them absolute trust, since you don't actually know how well they'll keep it a secret.

You can install Sims 4 on up to 5 computers at the same time but you're only allowed to play it on one at any given time (you can't login with Origin multiple times).
