Does Medal record your microphone?

Be sure to have Microphone Input toggled on so that Medal can capture your microphone in-game. On the dropdown, select your headset or microphone you are wanting to use to capture your voice.

Does medal TV record everything?

With Full Session Recording, you can capture your entire gaming session and create clips from within that session. There is no limit on how long Medal will record your gaming session. Once your gaming session is finished, you can trim your session to clips for uploading and sharing!

Does Medal capture Discord audio?

With Medal you can select multiple audio sources, so you can use both outputs on your headset and still capture audio from both Discord and your game.

How do you know if a Medal is recording?

Select the game you will like to record and it will begin the process to record. You can also launch your game outside of the application. Medal will detect the game automatically and record it. You will know when Medal is recording your game when you open your notification drawer and it will appear as Ready to Record.

Does Medal auto record clips?

With auto clipping enabled, you don't need to worry about pressing your clip hotkey to save that kill, Medal will capture it automatically. You can also set a custom clip length for auto clipping clips! If you are using Full Session Recording, Medal will automatically create bookmarks instead of clips.

Is Medal clip safe?

Is Medal.tv safe? Medal.tv is 100% safe to use on any device. Our industry-leading encryption keeps your information safe and clips are only public if you choose to make them public.

How does Medal record clips?

Clip Mode. Clip mode is used to capture clips on the fly. With the tap of a button, you can capture the last 15, 30, 60 or 120 seconds, 5 or 10 minutes of game play! By default, Medal will automatically upload any new clips to the Medal Cloud and delete the local file from your PC to prevent taking up hard drive space.

Does Medal affect FPS?

Increased FPS in your clip will also result in larger file size per clip. With Medal, we offer a range of FPS options, from 24 all the way up to 144 fps. Keep in mind, however, that increasing the FPS settings past your in-game FPS value won't result in any benefits and will just utilize more resources.

Does Medal have a watermark?

If you're working on a montage, or simply don't want the watermark present, you are able to download with or without the Medal watermark. This feature is only available to our Premium members. The local file will NEVER have a watermark, only clips that are uploaded to our servers will generate a watermark.

From the moment you launch Medal, you will be taken to your Library. This is where all your clips will be found.

Does Medal record audio?

Click on the dropdown and select either one, or multiple sound devices for your audio captures. You will also see the Output Volume bar, this is the volume at which those captures are recorded. If you are wanting to just capture the game sound, at the top of the page there will be the option to turn on Game Audio Only.

Does medal TV delete videos?

This feature will let Medal automatically delete the local copy of your clips that have already been published. With Free Up Space and Auto uploads, you can configure Medal so that your clips will never take up disk space again. Nevertheless, you can always download your clips if you want a local copy again.

Why is Medal so laggy?

Low framerate or choppy clips happen when your computer doesn't have enough resources to record while you're gaming. Games are very resource intensive and sometimes they don't leave enough room for us to record alongside them.

Can you get copyrighted on Medal?

If you share content on Medal that you do not own or otherwise do not have the rights to share on Medal, you may be infringing another person's intellectual property rights. This includes any third-party content included in your content, derivative creations, or performances of others' copyrighted content.

Does Medal use a lot of RAM?

For the highest quality options (144fps, 100M bitrate) Medal will need at least 3 GB of free memory.

Medal TV. If you want to capture and clip your special moments without dropping a frame, the Medal TV, the clipping software for low-end PC, is not to be missed. With this software, you are able to create clips ranging from 15 seconds to 10 minutes in up to 144 FPS and 4K UHD.

Does Medal record your gameplay?

Medal will continue to record your game until you turn off the game or you run out of hard drive space. To enable this feature, click on the Medal settings icon in the bottom left, then select Clips & Recording. When using this feature, it's always best to make sure you have enough space on your hard drive.

Why are my Medal clips green?

Disable Hardware Acceleration

Another thing to try, would be to disable UI Hardware Acceleration in your Medal app. To get here, open your Medal app then go to Settings > System and toggle off UI Hardware Acceleration. After doing so, please restart your Medal app.

How can I see who viewed my Medal clip?

Now if you have 5 or more followers, you can engage with your viewers by seeing who watched your clip, and reach out to them! To check, all you have to do is click the eye icon on any of your clips.
