Doesn't really matter because very little (Story-wise) has been taken from Arkham Asylum to Arkham City. However if you play it in order, you might enjoy it more but there isn't much of continuation in story.Does it matter if you play the Arkham games in order?
Origins, Asylum, City, Knight. Origins is a prequel to the series, so you should play it before. I'm playing them in order of release, but I would say play Origins, then Asylum, then City, then Knight if you want order of story.
