Click on the Origin menu in the Origin client and select Reload Page. If this does not work, log out of Origin and log back in again. This will refresh your Game Library in the Origin client. You can also try uninstalling and reinstalling Origin.

Actually I'd say getting it on Origin/EA App is better. The Steam version requires Origin anyway, furthermore the EA App is incompatible to Sims on Steam and using the Steam version of any EA game will prevent you from using the EA app if you care for that (EA App replaces Origin while Steam requires Origin).
