If you would like to download your clip, you can select Download Clip. If you are subscribed to Medal Premium, you can chose to download your clip without the watermark using the Without Watermark & Outro option.

Is there a way to remove Medal watermark?

If you are new to Medal, we'll start watermarking your clips for you, but you can turn them off using the same setting. To change your watermark, just update your avatar!

Can you get copyrighted on Medal?

If you share content on Medal that you do not own or otherwise do not have the rights to share on Medal, you may be infringing another person's intellectual property rights. This includes any third-party content included in your content, derivative creations, or performances of others' copyrighted content.

Can you record full games with Medal?

When this feature is enabled, Medal will begin recording your entire game session from start to end. Medal will continue to record your game until you turn off the game or you run out of hard drive space. To enable this feature, click on the Medal settings icon in the bottom left, then select Clips & Recording.

Does Medal record your voice?

Be sure to have Microphone Input toggled on so that Medal can capture your microphone in-game. On the dropdown, select your headset or microphone you are wanting to use to capture your voice.

Why is Medal so laggy?

Low framerate or choppy clips happen when your computer doesn't have enough resources to record while you're gaming. Games are very resource intensive and sometimes they don't leave enough room for us to record alongside them.

Does higher FPS make it slower?

When choosing your frame rate, you'll want to keep in mind that the higher the frame rate, the slower the slow motion will be. For example, videos recorded in 60fps or 120fps will then be slowed down to a 24ps frame rate, which creates that smooth slow-motion effect.

Does 120 FPS give you an advantage?

If you can play with 120+ frames shown on screen per second, movement will be shown updated twice as often as 60 FPS, and your game controls will also be perceived as responding twice as fast. Everything will simply feel smoother.
