@indigopotter. Pitch is very similar to Euchre. It's a bidding game with a possible four points (high, low, Jack, game) of trumps, and makes an excellent 4p partner game like Euchre. There is a variation I know where the 5 of trump is worth 5 points, though I don't like to play that way.
