Is Xbox Series S noisy?

It is so loud my wife heard it in the next room and thought something was wrong. The problem is I was barely playing the game. The only 2 games I have on it are Halo Infinite and Alien Fireteam Elite. Once the console is on for 10-15 minutes the noise just gets so loud.
