Straight out of Turtle Beach’s Germany-based ROCCAT comes a new PC gaming mouse that’s sure to be a game-changer. According to a press release from ROCCAT, the Burst Pro will combine premium features to create a device that’s lighter, more intuitive, and more comfortable than typical game mice.

The press release reveals the Burst Pro as the first of its kind to debut the company’s Titan Optical Switch. Similar to the Vulcan Pro and TKL Pro keyboards, the Burst Pro is designed to give PC gamers an edge over the competition. ROCCAT’s new accessory puts other gaming mice to shame by registering clicks 100 times faster and offering a unique symmetrical shape that’s comfortable in most hands. The optical switch is rated for 100 million clicks and helps resolves the “double-click” issue common in other gaming accessories.

The Burst Pro is designed with more durable light-based switches to stand up to the most avid of players. Its translucent honeycomb exterior reduces the overall weight to only 68g, so there’s nothing to hold back gamer performance. “PTFE heat-treated glides” amplify the user experience and ensure a smooth glide with any type of mousepad to maximize the 16,000 DPI Owl-Eye Optical Sensor. To prevent tangling, the Burst is equipped with a PhantomFlex cable that, according to ROCCAT, “virtually disappears during use with no tangling or bunching up.”

ROCCAT founder and Turtle Beach’s General Manager of PC Products, Rene Korte, confirmed the innovations that help elevate the Burst Pro above other gaming mice. “The Burst Pro delivers our latest, most responsible Titan Optical Switch technology in a symmetrical and extremely lightweight mouse that will give any PC gamer a speed advantage over the competition,” Korte explained.

Not only does ROCCAT’s gaming mouse promote smoother, faster gameplay, it’s an attractive showpiece that will fit in with any glowing PC setup. AIMO intelligent lighting adapts to the player for dynamic ambient lighting. ROCCAT’s AIMO website states that “AIMO compliments the owner’s needs intuitively, dazzling when desired and taking a backseat when gamers do what they do best. Game.”

Alongside the Burst Pro, ROCCAT is also releasing the Burst Core. This high-end, pro-grade gaming mouse sports an 8,500 DPI PAW3331 PixArt sensor, housed in a comfortable honeycomb shell. While the Burst Pro will retail for approximately USD $65, the Core will be much cheaper at just over USD $30.

ROCCAT is launching the Burst Pro on October 30, 2020, with the Burst Core following on November 16, 2020.
