Riot’s League of Legends foray into the realm of mobile gaming has seemingly been a success. The open beta testing in countries Indonesia, Japan, Singapore, Thailand, Philippines, and South Korea has seen remarkable promise and, as such, developer Riot Games has decided to launch beta in nine new regions.
Nine new countries, which include Vietnam, Taiwan, Oceania (Australia and New Zealand), Turkey, Russia & CIS, North Africa, the Middle East, and Europe, will get to test the beta for Wild Rift on iOS and Android, in December 2020. The application will show up in their respective mobile app stores and will be free to download at specific dates.
The release for Oceania, Vietnam, and Taiwan will take place on Dec. 7, whereas the remaining regions will see their opportunity to test the beta on Dec. 10. All dates mentioned will be according to the Pacific Time (PT) zone.
Riot has provided confirmation that the Americas region will be receiving a release date but it will not be coming until Spring 2021, with more regions to follow.
